Fox Diversifies: Fox News will be starting up a weekly hourlong news magazine next year, and has named David Corvo, a longtime CBS News producer, as the executive producer. Corvo, who is currently vice president of public affairs programming at CBS News in New York City, will join Fox in Los Angeles after the November elections. Since 1990, Corvo has supervised “60 Minutes,” “48 Hours” and “Street Stories,” and in the late 1970s he was executive producer of news at KNXT (now KCBS) in Los Angeles. The new Fox magazine will originate in L.A.
