* Kenneth T. Lian has been appointed president of Irvine Sensors Corp., a Costa Mesa developer of infrared devices and computer electronics packages. Lian joined Irvine Sensors as director of engineering and manufacturing in 1981 and became Irvine’s chief operating officer in February, 1986.
