HIV Kits: Advantage Life Products of Laguna Hills says its Be Safe HIV kit, an education packet aimed at preventing the spread of AIDS, will be sold in the pharmacy section of some K mart stores in Chicago.
“K mart realizes there is a tremendous demand for complete and accurate information about the facts and prevention of this health crisis and has agreed to this initial distribution in the Chicago market,” said Don Danks, president of Advantage Life.
The kit does not include an HIV test. It does include an audiocassette and guide book that discuss HIV-safe practices.
