COLLEGE ROUNDUP : UC Irvine Shuts Out Marymount in Men’s Soccer

Kevin Smith and Charles Higley each scored two goals and UC Irvine defeated Loyola Marymount, 5-0, in a nonconference men’s soccer match Wednesday at Loyola Marymount.
Smith scored two in the first half and Higley scored two in the second and Dave Smith also scored for the Anteaters.
In California Collegiate Athletic Conference women’s soccer:
CS San Bernardino 2, Chapman 1--Merinda Tenace scored the winning goal to lead CS San Bernardino (10-5-1, 3-3) past host Chapman (8-6-1, 0-5-1).
