CSUN’s Proutt Shifted to Tackle

Lidge Proutt has been moved from linebacker to defensive tackle for Cal State Northridge’s football game Saturday against Portland State, replacing Mike Zorn who suffered a right ankle sprain and broken right thumb last Saturday.
Proutt, a 230-pound senior transfer from the University of the Pacific, has played a reserve role at linebacker with the exception of one start.
