Socks, the First Cat, Misses Festivities

WASHINGTON — While the new First Family celebrated the inauguration Wednesday of President Clinton, the family’s pet cat, Socks, was back home in Arkansas.
White House Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers said that Socks did not make the move with the Clintons, but will be sent for “when the family gets settled.”
