Clinton’s Inauguration

Although I voted for Ross Perot, I agree with the words of President Clinton’s inaugural speech. I wonder if he or any politician has the guts to suggest a very easy way to start this “investment” process.
He should encourage the citizens of this country to invest in their own future, for our own sake, by buying American cars and products instead of imports. If one thinks of an import as an American job lost or a family of four on welfare, I wonder how proud an import driver could feel. To quote President Clinton: “We must invest more in our own people, in their jobs, in their future . . . for our own sake.”
