How does the military explain flood damage to 70 high-priced aircraft (Jan. 19)? These people are the masters of planning and strategy, not to mention advanced scouting. The flooding occurred right under their noses, not half a world away. Didn’t someone notice the fact that Camp Pendleton is in a flood plain, rain had been relentless and the Santa Margarita River was overflowing?
