‘Paradise’ in La Jolla: “Children of Paradise: Shooting a Dream,” a stage play based on the making of the Marcel Carne movie “Children of Paradise,” will have its West Coast premiere during the film’s 50th anniversary at La Jolla Playhouse’s Mandell Weiss Theatre, May 16-June 13. The Minneapolis-based Theatre de la Jeune Lune created the work, which premiered at its own theater Nov. 18 and finished a run in January at the Yale Repertory Theatre in New Haven, Conn.
