Expansion Plans: State of the Art Inc., the Irvine publisher of accounting software, said it plans to hire more than 140 staff members this year. That would represent a 70% increase in the company’s current work force of 206.
State of the Art said it plans to launch several new lines of software during the year and will broaden its customer service and marketing.
