Two teen-age boys were shot early Sunday at a Lancaster party after an argument about rap music, authorities said.
Antione Alfaro, 19, of Littlerock suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was treated at Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center and released, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jerry Mitchell said.
A 17-year-old boy from Palmdale, whom authorities would not identify, was taken to Lancaster Community Hospital after a bullet hit his arm and chest, Mitchell said. He was listed in good condition Sunday afternoon, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The two teen-agers were at a party in the 42000 block of Challenger Way about 1:20 a.m. when a disagreement erupted, Mitchell said. A fight followed and a male, whose identity remains unknown, pulled a gun and fired shots that hit the two victims, Mitchell said.
The 17-year-old was taken to the hospital by friends. Alfaro walked to a nearby convenience store and called authorities for help, Mitchell said.
No one else was injured and no arrests have been made, Mitchell said.
