WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Jackson Scores 29, Titans Beat Nevada

Allison Jackson, a reserve, scored 29 points and to help Cal State Fullerton to an 85-65 victory over Nevada in a Big West Conference women’s basketball game Thursday at Fullerton.
Jackson was 11 of 18 from the field, including two of four on three-point attempts. She also made five of seven free-throw attempts. Shefonda Colbert added 17 points and a career-high 20 rebounds. Shayla Bradshaw had 15 points and a career-high seven assists for Fullerton (6-14, 3-10 in conference).
Kelli Dufficy had 20 for Nevada (2-18, 2-13).
In another Big West Conference women’s game:
Cal State Long Beach 90, UC Irvine 81--Yvonne Catala had 19 points on eight-of-10 shooting from the field for host UC Irvine (2-19, 1-12). Irvine trailed by as many as 17, 82-65, before making a late run.
Chenise Butler had 17 points for Long Beach (7-13, 6-7).
