Coach Al Scates will be seeking his 800th victory when his top-ranked UCLA men’s volleyball team plays third-ranked Stanford tonight in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match at 7:30 in Pauley Pavilion.
In 31 years at UCLA, Scates has a record of 799-128, unmatched in collegiate volleyball.
UCLA (13-1 overall, 8-1 in conference play) is first in the Mountain Division. Stanford (8-3, 7-2) leads the Pacific Division.
