Earnings Up 11% for Datametrics’ 1st Quarter

Datametrics Corp., a Chatsworth maker of printers and plotters for the military and industrial markets, reported an 11% increase in its fiscal first-quarter earnings.
In the three months ended Jan. 31, Datametrics earned $256,000, up from $230,000 a year before. Its revenue edged up to $5.32 million from $5.16 million.
The company attributed the higher earnings to its continued cost-cutting and focus on more profitable products.
