Oxnard police are looking for three Latino men between about 18 and 20 years old who beat, robbed and stabbed a 19-year-old Oxnard man about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
Antonio Cahue, who was listed in stable condition Monday at St. John’s Regional Medical Center, told police that he was confronted by the men as he walked near the intersection of San Gorgonio and Rose avenues.
Police said the three suspects approached Cahue and asked where he was from. When the victim replied “Mexico,” the suspects hit him several times, knocked him to the ground, stabbed him four times in the back and arms and took his wallet, police said.
The suspects then fled the area on foot, police said. The victim was found by Oxnard firefighters responding to another incident and was taken to St. John’s medical center, reports said.
