ORANGE — Tim Taube has resigned as football coach at Orange Lutheran High, the school announced Wednesday.
Under Taube, who had an 18-14 record in three seasons, the Lancers reached the Southern Section Division IX quarterfinals in 1990. Taube was a junior varsity coach for a season before he took over the varsity team at Orange Lutheran, and coached at Los Angeles Lutheran before that.
Taube cited personal reasons for resigning his coaching position. He will remain on the Orange Lutheran teaching staff.
“We’re sorry to lose him as a coach,” Athletic Director Bob Dowding said. “He did a good job for us. We would like to see him stay involved.”
For application information, call Dowding at Orange Lutheran, 998-5151.
