I remember so well seeing the Jam at the Starwood when you couldn’t even imagine a better band, the Clash at the Roxy (the most awesome live show I’ve ever witnessed) and, of course, the mighty Damned at the Whisky, unpredictable and powerful.
Yes, Nirvana and Pearl Jam, you should hit your knees and give thanks to these and many other bands of that incredible time, who blazed the trail you so obviously skip through.
