BACK HOME: For 10 years the rich, deep voice of Bob Starr made the California Angels games come alive over the radio airwaves. And now, after three years with the rival Boston Red Sox, he’s back behind the Halos’ microphone at KMPC for this afternoon’s opener at the Big A (C1). . . . “Opening Day is still exciting, especially this year,” Starr says. “Only two players, Chuck Finley and Chili Davis, were here when I left in ’89. It will be fun to watch the Angels’ new young kids develop.”
