Robert E. Adams has been appointed senior vice president of the mortgage banking division of Westcorp, the Irvine financial services company whose principal subsidiary is Western Financial Savings Bank. Adams was previously first vice president for operations and administration at Countrywide Funding Corp., where he was responsible for its nationwide retail mortgage banking network.
