TV Romances: Harlequin Romance novels are coming to a television near you. CBS has signed up for the first six TV movies to be made through a collaboration between Canadian producer-distributor Alliance Communications Corp. and publisher Harlequin Enterprises. The movies, to be budgeted at $3 million each and filmed in various international locales, will be available in the summer of 1994.
