An unidentified man was found shot to death in a Sherman Oaks park, authorities said Saturday.
A jogger discovered the man on the ground about 10:40 p.m. Friday at Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks Park, Los Angeles police said.
When officers checked the victim, they found a gunshot wound to his upper torso, Sgt. Horace Frank said. Police found no identification with the body and have no motive for the shooting.
The 5-foot-6 man, thought to be between 25 and 35 years old, had brown hair and eyes and was wearing a red polo shirt with blue stripes, blue shorts and athletic shoes, Frank said.
