Donaldson’s Negotiations: Sam Donaldson’s ABC News contract officially ends today but, if history repeats itself, he could keep right on going until negotiations are finished. On the other hand, Donaldson gets $2 million a year, and ABC last year wanted him to take a cut. He didn’t; hence, the one-year extension, and this year’s return to square one. So far, both Donaldson and ABC have refused press calls about the negotiations.
