BOOK TOUR: Australian novelist Thomas M. Keneally, who teaches in UC Irvine’s graduate Program in Writing (E1), will visit Poland on April 27 to watch director Steven Spielberg film Keneally’s 1982 novel, “Schindler’s List.” It tells the true story of a Nazi factory owner who saved 1,300 Jewish workers from concentration camps. . . . It’s taken a decade to get a suitable script. After all that time, Keneally says, “it doesn’t actually feel as if it’s got a lot to do with me. I feel a bit like a mother-in-law at the wedding.”
