NBA PLAYOFFS / UPDATE : CLIPPERS : Vaught Sidelined by a Strained Back

The Clippers played Game 4 against the Houston Rockets without forward Loy Vaught, sidelined because of a strained lower back.
“I can’t walk upright,” Vaught said before Wednesday’s game. “I’m bent forward. I’m stiff. Joint-locking is what he (the doctor) called it. And there’s inflammation and pressure.”
Vaught has been bothered by lower-back problems for years, sometimes wearing a soft brace and regularly taking anti-inflammation medication.
