‘Life’ Goes Off: ABC has switched the air date for the final episode of “Life Goes On,” the family drama that has been running since 1989. Originally the network had planned to air it May 22, but executives changed their minds this week and moved it into the time slot where the series has aired for most of its history: at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, opposite “60 Minutes.” The finale includes a dream sequence that looks at how things might be for the Thacher family four years from now.
