Dorothy Roberts, 86, Canadian-born poet whose last book was “In the Flight of Stars,” published in 1991. Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, she attended the University of New Brunswick and moved to the United States with her husband, August Leisner, in 1940. Her books, popular in the United States as well as Canada, included “Songs for Swift Feet,” “In Star and Stalk,” “Twice in Flame” and “The Self of Loss.” She regularly organized poetry readings and discussions at Pennsylvania State University.
