Airline Offers Motorcycle Express Shuttle Service

LONDON — If getting stuck in airport traffic is a drag, one British carrier will tuck you into weatherproof gear and haul you in by motorcycle. For free.
Virgin Atlantic Airways estimates that by weaving in and out of traffic, the motorcycles can shave 30 minutes or more off the time of a trip between central London and Heathrow Airport.
“We’ve already had a lot of interest from our passengers who work in the city and who are keen to cut down traveling time to the airport,” Virgin chief Richard Branson said Friday.
Virgin said its weatherproof clothing will keep the executives dry and warm, even in British weather.
