COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Santa Clara Stymies CSUN in Volleyball

Lia Young had 22 kills to lead Santa Clara to a 15-8, 15-12, 13-15, 15-9 women’s volleyball victory over Cal State Northridge on Saturday in a nonconference match at Santa Clara.
The Matadors were led by Aimee Stone with 18 kills and 20 digs. She also had three service aces, tying for the team lead with Missy Clements.
Clements had 16 kills and Heather Anderson added 14 for Northridge (7-9).
The Matadors had 10 service aces but committed 17 service errors and had a 15.9 attack percentage.
In another women’s volleyball match:
Cal Lutheran d. Christian Heritage, 15-5, 15-3, 15-7--Aimee Snider had 15 assists to lead the Regals (11-6) to a nonconference victory at San Diego. Christian Heritage is 6-16.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
Biola 2, The Master’s 0--Michelle Nissen and Deanne Hansen scored to lead the Eagles to an NAIA District 3 victory at La Mirada.
