Crescenta Valley 24, Burroughs 8--Erik LaCom rushed for 146 yards in 23 carries and scored two touchdowns to lead the Falcons (4-1) at Burroughs.
Crescenta Valley scored three touchdowns in the final two minutes before halftime, taking advantage of two fumbled kickoff returns by Burroughs (2-3). LaCom scored on runs of one and five yards, and quarterback David Fielder made it 21-0 with an 18-yard touchdown run on a keeper.
The Burroughs offense was led by Carlos Moreno (11 carries, 82 yards) and Ed Melgar (12 carries, 65 yards).
