FHP Acquires HMO: Health-care provider FHP Inc. said Friday that it has completed its $3.5-million acquisition of a Colorado health maintenance organization owned by Aetna Life and Casualty Co.
FHP, which provides HMO and other plans for 850,000 members in five Western states and some Pacific islands, picked up 4,700 members with the acquisition of Aetna Health Plans of Colorado.
