Presto digitation: State of the Art Inc., which makes accounting software, said Monday it has begun developing another generation of software for “personal digital assistants,” which are hand-held electronic gear.
The Irvine company released its Expense It! software for Apple Computer Inc.’s Newton MessagePad, a hand-held computer designed for mobile communications and computing. The program makes it easier to record business expenses while traveling.
New versions of Expense It! are expected to be released in the first half of next year, the company said. So far, the company has taken more than $250,000 worth of orders.
