SANTA ANA : Community Cleanup Fair Scheduled

The city will sponsor a neighborhood cleanup and community fair Saturday including music, games, prizes and food.
The events will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Washington Street between Spurgeon and French streets with a graffiti paint-out and trash pickup.
The fair begins at 11 a.m. and will include crafts for children as well as Police Department exhibits such as “Barney the Talking Car” and a canine unit, said spokeswoman Lissette Lopez-Piepenburg.
The library bookmobile and representatives from Bowers Museum, the Orange County Health Department, the Santa Ana Zoo and local youth organizations will also be present.
Co-sponsored by the French Court and French Park neighborhood associations, the events are free and open to the public.
