NATION IN BRIEF : MONTANA : Court Says Dad May Wear a Dress

The state Supreme Court said wearing women’s clothes doesn’t automatically make a man a bad father. The unanimous decision overturned a lower court order in a divorce case that gave a women sole custody of the couple’s 3-year-old child and allowed only limited supervised visits by the father. The seven-justice panel ruled the judge based his decision on unfounded fears and disregarded expert testimony. They ordered the lower court to grant joint custody. The woman wanted sole custody because her ex-husband admitted wearing women’s clothes in the past.
