JUNIOR COLLEGE FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Preston Leads Moorpark Past Winless Ventura, 35-0

Todd Preston passed for 215 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third score Saturday night to lead Moorpark College to a 35-0 Western State Conference Northern Division victory over host Ventura.
Preston, who completed 14 of 23 with one interception, threw for scores spanning 47 and five yards to Mark Henrie (four catches, 80 yards) and ran for a one-yard touchdown.
Moorpark’s Gil Carrillo, third in the WSC in rushing, gained a season-high 187 yards in 19 carries and scored on a 54-yard run.
Ventura (0-6, 0-5 in the conference, 0-1 in the division), last in the WSC in offense and averaging less than three points a game, finished with 128 yards--12 less than its season average.
Moorpark (4-2, 4-1, 1-0) had 500 yards in offense, including 285 on the ground.
