OTTAWA — The unofficial final results of Monday’s Canadian general election for the 295 seats in Parliament are as follows: Liberal: 178 Bloc Quebecois: 54 Reform Party: 52 New Dem. Party: 8 Conservatives: 2 Independent: 1
The figures were compiled by major media organizations based on returns from Elections Canada, a government body. An official tally will not be available for about a week.
