* Water plants that are situated under the eaves and overhangs that aren’t watered by the rain.

* Plant colorful iceland poppies to fill flower beds with color through the winter.

* For fragrance plant daphnes, which bloom in cluster of fragrant creamy colored flowers during the months of February and March.
