Alhambra : Marguerita School a Winner

A sixth-grade team from Marguerita Elementary School has won the 1993 championship on KIDQUIZ, a children’s game show.
KIDQUIZ, which is televised on KCBS-Channel 2, includes questions on math, literature, history and geography. Sixteen local schools participated in the competition, which will air in summer, 1994.
Marguerita’s winning team was led by teacher Rose Joyner and team captain Kenyon Han. Team members were: Nima Javadi, Dario Soto, Richard Vasak, Christina Engen, Ena Patel and Christopher Chang.
