Becerra to Hold Town Hall Meeting

Rep. Xavier Becerra has scheduled a Town Hall meeting from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at White Memorial Medical Center.
The 30th District Democrat said he wants to hear the thoughts of his constituents before he votes on President Clinton’s budget, crime and health-care bills.
The meetings will focus on the economy, health care and crime prevention and offer an opportunity for questions and answers on other issues.
A half-hour before the meeting, Becerra and his staff will be available to help with earthquake relief claims and questions.
Becerra also plans a similar meeting from 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 18 at AIDS Project Los Angeles, 1313 N. Vine St., Hollywood.
White Memorial is at 1720 Brooklyn Ave. The meeting will be in Conference Rooms A-D, next to the restaurant.
