IRVINE — Concordia women’s basketball Coach Sharon Campbell resigned Thursday after one season with the Eagles.
Campbell, who supplemented her part-time position coaching the Eagles with work as a residence counselor at the university, is pursuing several other jobs that would combine coaching, teaching and administration.
The Eagles were 15-13, 5-5 in the Golden State Athletic Conference, under Campbell.
“This was a difficult decision for me because I like it here and this program has so much potential,” Campbell said. “However, I know that now is the time to move into a full-time role.”
