Datum Inc.: The Anaheim manufacturer of precision-frequency products and timing instrumentation posted a profit of $72,000, or 3 cents a share, for 1993. That contrasts with a net loss of $2.2 million, or 89 cents a share, a year ago, which included a loss on discontinued operations of $1.8 million. Sales declined from $27.3 million to $24.6 million. For the fourth quarter, the company reported a net loss of $111,000, or 4 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $1.8 million, or 70 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Sales were down from $6.6 million to $6.2 million. The company said 1993 sales were lower due to the divestiture of two subsidiaries.
