BRIEFLY : Finances: Tax Help for Senior Citizens

The American Assn. of Retired Persons offers free federal and state income tax assistance for senior citizens through April 15.
Volunteers are available to help complete tax returns for the Franchise Tax Board and the Internal Revenue Service.
To be eligible for aid, taxpayers should bring tax instruction booklets and forms; records of income and deductions including W-2 and W-2P forms, statements showing earned interest, and other pertinent records.
