San Jose-based Pyramid Technology Corp. expects to post a fiscal second-quarter loss on a 16% revenue decline, primarily because of lost business with traditional clients. . . . Motorola Inc. and International Business Machines Corp. said they were shipping the first samples of a smaller, faster PowerPC microprocessor, launching still another rival to Intel Corp.’s Pentium line. The chips are the first PowerPC 601s to run at a speed of 100-megahertz. The three earlier versions run at 50, 66 and 80 megahertz.
