Time Warner Narrows Loss: Paced by strong advertising gains in its magazine group, the media and entertainment giant reported a loss of $54 million, or 14 cents a share, compared to $124 million, or 33 cents, a year earlier. The per-share results are after the payment of preferred dividends.
