Khalid Abdul Muhammad, the former top aide to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan who has been denounced for expressing anti-Semitic views, toured the Holocaust Museum and emerged contending that the genocide experienced by blacks has been far worse than what happened to Jews. After his 90-minute visit, Muhammad told reporters that the suffering inflicted by Nazis on “so-called” Jews and other minorities was minuscule compared with the pain that blacks have endured from whites for centuries.
