Eggleston Stats Didn’t Add Up
I read an article by Martin Henderson on a basketball computer simulation. I don’t believe that Brea-Olinda’s girls’ team could ever come close to beating any high school all-star team. I don’t know where the statistics came from, but I do know one thing, and that is that Jessica Eggleston’s stats must have been manipulated by someone.
When was the last time Eggleston scored two measly points in a game for Cypress High? She was Orange County’s leading scorer for the last two years. She shot over 60% from the field, and you are telling me that she went 0 for 3 in 16 minutes. I know just about any coach would keep her in the game for more than 25 minutes.
Either you have got some biased coaches, or a computer simulation that should be trashed. What a disgrace to one of the county’s premiere athletes.

Editor’s note: The statistics listed for players were derived by the computer simulation. None were altered.
