Digital Soft: The Fountain Valley software distributor has been sued by Novell Inc., which alleges that it sold illegally upgraded software. An attorney for Novell, based in Provo, Utah, said the lawsuit alleges that Digital violated a signed agreement by selling upgraded software at a discount to customers rather than buying and distributing new software packages. Digital Soft officials could not be reached Thursday for comment.
