No New Age Group, No Particular Cause

In the Feb. 20 View section, there was an article entitled “Eyes on a Cosmic Prize” which contained misinformation about John-Roger, spiritual director of the Church of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness.
John-Roger is not a “new age leader.” Our church does not consider itself a “new age” church. The Church of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness is an ecumenical church that presents a new look at ancient spiritual philosophies.
John-Roger does not have a “cause.” He has a wide range of life experiences that many people find valuable as reference points for learning how to live a happy, joyful, peaceful life that is focused on sharing, loving and being of service. He does not have a foundation in Santa Monica.
