Firefighters Thanked: Taco Bell will play host to more than 2,000 firefighters and their families at a special preseason performance of the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach. The Irvine Bowl, home to the pageant for more than 50 years, was damaged by last October’s devastating wildfires and by subsequent mudslides.
Taco Bell is subsidizing the performance to thank firefighters who helped to save the Irvine Bowl from even heavier damage. “We are dedicated to not forgetting the accomplishments and sacrifices of these people,” said Taco Bell spokesman Jeff Lightburn. “You might say that, thanks to the firefighters, the ‘show goes on.”’
