111 Arrested in New York Anti-Prostitution Raid

NEW YORK — A police crackdown, billed as one of the largest anti-prostitution operations in city history, targeted 33 Manhattan brothels and produced 111 arrests.
Officials said police began the sweep by checking out ads for “hostesses.” Undercover officers then posed as clients Wednesday night.
