Founder’s Day to Speak: Carl N. Karcher, founder of the Carl’s Jr. chain, will speak during the California Restaurant Assn.’s Orange County Chapter meeting at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 27, at the Hyatt Regency Alicante in Anaheim.
Reservations are not required, but Mike Rhodes, the chapter president, recommends early arrivals for the event, which is free. “He is arguably Orange County’s most prominent citizen,” Rhodes said.
